CaptchaNo vs CapSolver: Read the Terms First
CapSolver's terms prohibit reselling. If you are building a product on top, that clause decides the comparison before price enters it.
The decisive difference between CaptchaNo and CapSolver is not technical — it is contractual. CapSolver's terms prohibit reselling its service. If anything you are building passes solving capacity to a customer, that single clause rules it out no matter how the rest of the comparison reads. We run CaptchaNo, so check that claim yourself: it is on their own legal page.
The clause that decides it
CapSolver's terms list "any form of Reselling CapSolver Services" under prohibited activities. It also states that it does not offer refunds in any form, and that unused portions of expired packages are non-refundable.
Read together, those two facts describe a specific risk: if your account is ever actioned for a terms breach, your prepaid balance goes with it, and so does the service your own customers depend on. For an individual solving their own challenges that may be an acceptable risk. For an agency, a SaaS, or anyone with customers downstream, it is not a pricing question at all — it is a single point of failure written into the contract.
We publish a reseller programme precisely because this gap exists across most of the market.
What CapSolver does well
It is a capable service and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise. It is AI-first rather than worker-backed, which generally means consistent latency. Its documented coverage is broad, including DataDome and AWS WAF — wider than several better-known competitors. Its API is clean and its documentation is good.
If you are solving for systems you own, are not reselling, and the coverage matches your targets, it is a reasonable choice.
Side by side
Observed from each service's own published pages in October 2026. We compare on documented facts only, and make no performance claims about other services.
| CaptchaNo | CapSolver | |
|---|---|---|
| Resale permitted | Yes, documented programme | No — prohibited in terms |
| Refunds | Failures never charged | "No refunds in any form" |
| Balance expiry | Credit does not expire | Expired packages non-refundable |
| DataDome documented | Yes | Yes |
| Single request shape | Yes | Per-type task objects |
Why terms matter more than rates here
Captcha solving is infrastructure. Infrastructure decisions are expensive to reverse, because by the time you discover the constraint you have customers depending on it. The failure mode is not "we paid slightly too much" — it is "our supply disappeared and we have to rebuild on someone else while customers are live".
So the questions worth asking before you integrate anything have nothing to do with headline rates: Am I permitted to resell or embed this? Is my balance refundable? Can prices change without notice? Who am I actually contracting with? Most providers in this category answer at least one of those badly, and almost nobody asks.
What we will not claim
No head-to-head speed or accuracy numbers. We cannot run CapSolver's account under controlled conditions, and an unreproducible benchmark is marketing. Our benchmarks page sets out what we do measure. Trial both against your own targets and compare accepted completions rather than returned tokens.
If you are migrating
Your proxy and user-agent handling transfers unchanged — that is the part worth keeping. Swap the endpoint, map the type names, and run both in parallel on a traffic slice before cutting over. Examples for Selenium and Playwright, and the full shape in the API reference.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I resell CapSolver?
No. Its terms list any form of reselling CapSolver services under prohibited activities. If you are building an agency offering, a SaaS that embeds solving, or any product where customers benefit from the capacity, that clause applies to you. Confirm it on their current terms page before committing engineering time, since terms change.
Is CaptchaNo a CapSolver alternative?
For the common challenge types, yes — reCAPTCHA v2 and v3, Cloudflare Turnstile and DataDome all resolve through one request shape. The clearest reason to switch is building a product on top, because reselling is explicitly permitted — with a separate API key per customer and usage per key — rather than prohibited.
What happens to my balance if an account is suspended?
That depends entirely on the provider's terms, and this is the question nobody asks until it is too late. Several services in this category state plainly that unused funds are non-refundable. Stage your deposits rather than parking a large float with any single provider, whichever one you choose.
Does CapSolver support DataDome?
Yes, its documentation lists DataDome among supported types, as does ours. Bear in mind that DataDome is session-graded rather than a widget: the result is a cookie bound to the exit IP that earned it, so any provider must accept your proxy for the result to be usable at all.
Which service is faster?
We do not publish that comparison. We cannot run another company's account under controlled conditions, so any number we gave you would be unverifiable. Solve latency also depends heavily on your own proxy quality. Run both against your real targets for an afternoon and measure accepted completions.
Check the terms, then trial both
