Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 16 October 2026.
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of our Terms of Service. It describes what CaptchaNo may and may not be used for. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break it, without refund where the law allows.
What CaptchaNo is for
CaptchaNo is for automation you are authorised to run. Typical uses include:
- Testing and QA of websites and applications you own or have permission to test.
- Collecting publicly available data where doing so is lawful.
- Monitoring prices, availability or search results where that is lawful.
- Automating workflows on accounts and systems that belong to you or your organisation.
- Accessibility tooling that helps people use services they are entitled to use.
- Research and AI agents operating within the rules above.
What you must not do
Account and access abuse
- Credential stuffing, password spraying, account takeover, or any attempt to access an account or system you are not authorised to access.
- Creating fake, bulk or duplicate accounts on third-party services for spam, fraud, manipulation or to abuse sign-up offers.
Fraud and deception
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation or identity theft.
- Payment fraud, card testing, or abuse of promotions, coupons or referral programmes.
- Fake reviews, votes, followers, clicks, ad impressions or other engagement.
Harmful activity
- Spam, or sending unsolicited messages through forms, comments or contact pages.
- Denial-of-service attacks or traffic intended to degrade another service.
- Buying tickets or other limited goods in breach of applicable law, such as laws against ticket bots.
- Harassment, stalking, or collecting personal data about people without a lawful basis.
- Anything else that breaks the law, including sanctions, export-control, computer-misuse and data-protection law.
Abuse of CaptchaNo
- Creating more than one account to obtain trial credit, or otherwise circumventing our anti-abuse limits.
- Using stolen or unauthorised payment methods.
- Sharing API keys publicly, or reselling the Service other than under our Reseller Agreement.
- Probing, load-testing or attempting to break the security of the Service without our written permission.
Enforcement
We monitor usage for signs of abuse, including duplicate signups, unusual volume or error patterns, and payment disputes. Depending on severity we may warn you, rate-limit or revoke keys, withdraw trial credit, suspend or terminate the account, and where required by law, report activity to the authorities.
Reporting abuse
If you believe the Service is being used against your website in breach of this policy, email abuse@captchano.com with the details, including timestamps and the affected URLs. If you think your account was suspended in error, email the same address from your account email.
